Hi everyone,

 

Vandaag nog eens een kerstkaartje met de schattige Whipper Snapper stempeltjes. Deze keer heb ik Ike & Mike go Fishing gebruikt.

 

Today another Christmas card with the cute Ike & Mike go fishing from Whipper Snapper.

 

Ik heb dit stempeltje ingekleurd met de Distress inktjes, uitgestanst met een Spellbinder mal. Ik heb Bazzill bling papier gebruikt om het plaatje te matten en de kaart is bewerkt met een embossing folder. Nog wat strass steentjes, en het ijzige effekt is compleet.

 

I colored the stamped image with Distress ink, and die cut it with a Spellbinder die. I used some Bazzill bling cardstock to mat my image, and I used an embossing folder to add texture to my card. I added some bling to get a more icy effect.

 

Zo, dat was het weer voor vandaag, bedankt om te kijken en tot volgende keer!

The Magic of Christmas

 

Goeiemorgen iedereen,

 

Goodmorning everyon,

 

donderdag, dus kerstkaartendag. Als je nu nog niet gestart bent, dan begint het wel wat warm te worden vrees ik ! Maar hier heb ik voor jullie de pasklare oplossing. Een heel erg eenvoudige, maar toch indrukwekkende bling bling kerstkaart.

 

Thursday, another Christmas card. If you haven't started yet ... now would be a good time :)

But here is a fun, easy and impressing bling bling card.

 

 

Ga aan de slag met 1 snijmal van Penny Black, neem wat glitterpapier of glanspapier en kijk wat voor indrukwekkend resultaat je kan bereiken. Een ideaal model als je weinig tijd hebt of als je nog een hele voorraad nodig hebt.

 

I used 1 die from Penny Black, and took some glitter or metallic paper ... look how stunning the result is. And ideal card for those who have little time or need a whole bunch of them.

 

 

Uiteraard kan je voor alle materiaal terecht bij Inge in 'In 't Woefke'. Ze kreeg onlangs een verse voorraad binnen van deze mal, maar snel zijn is de boodschap.

 

As usual you can find all this at In 't Woefke, Inge got a fresh load of this die in the store, but hurry, as supplies are limited.

Schattig uiltje !

Jullie weten dat ik graag stempel, maar deze keer heb ik iets anders gedaan.

Ieder van ons kent dit wel: "ik heb een heleboel dies maar ik doe er zo weinig mee..."

Ik ook dus. Vandaar dat ik een aantal dies heb genomen... allen in de winkel te krijgen (al dan niet een maatje groter of kleiner of van een ander merk) en heb ik er een schattig uiltje mee gemaakt.

 

 

You all know I love stamping, but this time I did something completely different. Everyone knows this: "I have so many dies, but I don't do enough with them ..."

Sounds just like me, so I decided to make a cute owl, completely with dies ... all available in the store, maybe in another size or from another brand.

 

Ik begon met 3 soorten cardstock, tinten bruin-beige, die een mooi geheel zouden vormen. Je hebt één vorm nodig voor de kop (Spellbinders label 1), die later in twee wordt geplooid,

2 x een ronde vorm, voor buik en rug en nog één ronde om de binnenkant mooi te maken

(de kant waar je de vleugels aan bevestigd).

 

I started with 3 colors cardstock between off white and brown so it would fit together. You need 1 shape for the head (Spellbinders label 1), that you fold in 2, 2 circles, 1 for the belly and 1 for the back and 1 circle to cover the inside (where you attach the wings)

 

2 Scalloped ovalen voor de vleugels en 1 x dezelfde maat zonder karteling voor de borst.  Daarna 2 x 3 opeenvolgende maten van rondjes voor de ogen en het grootste van de drie, nog een keer voor de oogleden. De snavel komt uit een setje van MFT... het is eigenlijk een groot bloemblaadje.

 

2 scalloped ovals for the wings and 1 that is just as big but without the scallops for the breast. Then 3 different circle sizes for the eyes (2 of each) and the biggest of the 3 circles again for the eyelids. The beak is actually  a large flowerleaf from a Die-namics set.

 

De feesthoed is van een vlagmodel die en de lettertjes op de boord zijn van Memory Box.

Het borststuk en de vleugels geef je een embossingmotief... kijk wat je in je bezit hebt... veel kan gebruikt worden. De sprieten naast de hoed zijn met de vrije hand geknipt. Vind je dat moeilijk gebruik dan grasjes.

 

the party hat is a flag shape and the letters are from Memory Box. You can emboss the wings and breast with an embossingfolder you like. The fluffy feathers next to the hat I cut with my scissors but you can just as easily use tall grass.

 

En nu ineen kleven...

Zo simpel en nog leuk om te geven ook.

 

Glue everything together, and there you have a fun owl.

 

Oh ja... op de punt van de hoed kan je een pomponnetje kleven of zoals ik heb gedaan 2x een ster uitponsen...

 

Oh, and why not add a little pompon on the hat, of punch out 2 stars, or ....

 

Zo proberen jullie het ook eens en toon jullie resultaat. Altijd fijn om zien.

 

So why not try this out yourself and don't hesitate to show the result, we'ld love that.

Kopje thee

Good morning everyone,

 

vandaag krijg je weer een kaartje met Dutch Doobadoo materiaal. De theepot heb ik al een tijdje in mijn bezit, vond hem zooooo leuk, maar gebruikte hem tot op vandaag niet. Wel, eindelijk dus.

Het was een beetje een uitdaging, want het leuk bekleden was toch niet zo makkelijk als ik dacht. Maar het is gelukt ! Hieronder het resultaat.

 

today I'm showing another project with  something from Dutch Doobadoo. I own the teapot stencil for a while now,  but haven't used it yet, untill now. It was a bit of a challenge to decorate it, but it turned out quite well !

 

 

De theepot overtrekken op papier met potlood en dan uitknippen. Op je designpapier de binnenste stukjes overtrekken en uitknippen. Raampje uitknippen, dan met een mica cirkeltje en een bloemetjescirkel bedekken. Vullen met theezakjes aan de binnenkant.

 

First you draw around the stencil with a pencil, and then you cut it out. On the design paper you draw the inner line and cut this out also. Then it is just a matter of die cutting the window, adding some clear plastic behind it and adding a scalloped circle around the window. I put some teabags inside of my teapot, that show through the window.

 

 

Labels uitstansen en bestempelen met tekst. Een touwtje er aan. Ik maakte een klein gaatje in de theepot om de touwtjes er doorheen te trekken en ze binnenin vast te maken. Nadien twee gaatjes, om het lint er doorheen te trekken en te strikken. Een klein velcro sluiting bovenaan de theepot bevestigen dat alles netjes dicht blijft.

 

I die cut the labels and stamped a text on it and attached some twine. I made a little hole in the teapot for the twine and fastened them on the inside. Then I made 2 little holes for the ribbon and I added some velcro to close the teapot on top.

Baby Carriage

Hallo iedereen,

Hi everyone,

Vandaag nog eens een kaartje met een stempel van Serendipity: Baby Carriage.

Today a new card with a Serendipity stamp: Baby Carriage.

Deze stempels zijn zo mooie én zo gedetailleerd, een plezier om ermee te werken. Alleen moet ik toegeven dat ik ze zelf ook een tijdje uit het oog verloren was, maar ja, dat komt ervan als je zoveel stempels hebt hè.

These stamps are so beautiful and so detailed, they are a pleasure to work with. But I have to admit, I lost sight of them in my large collection of stamps, so I decided it was time to take them out again.

Ik heb de stempel ingekleurd met 1 van mijn favoriete mediums: Distress inkt.

I colored the stamp with 1 of my favorite mediums: Distress inkt.

Ik vond dat het kaartje niet te veel nodig had, om zo de aandacht op het afdrukje te houden, dus heb ik enkel cardstock en Sprinkle pastel papier van Galeria Papieru gebruikt en enkele Spellbinder cirkel mallen.

I wanted to keep the focus on the image itself, so I kept it clean and simple with just some cardstock en Sprinkle Pastel paper from Galeria Papieru. I just used a couple of Spellbinder circle dies, and my card was finished.

Herfst: warme kleurenpracht

Hallo iedereen,

Hi everyone,

De herfst komt eraan, ik hou van de warme kleuren die dit seizoen met zich meebrengt, het bruin, orange, rood, ...

Ik heb dan ook geprobeerd die warmte te tonen in dit kaartje.

Autumn is approaching, I love the warm colors this season has, the browns, the oranges, the reds, ....

And I tried to show this warmth in this card.

Ik gebruikte de stempels van Chocolate Baroque: Seasonal Fragments - die zijn hier zo leuk voor - en ik kleurde ze in met Distress reinkers en een penseel. Dan heb ik alles uitgestanst in ruitvorm, en ik koos voor 3 verschillende maten om het speels te houden. 

I used the stamps from Chocolate Baroque: Seasonal Fragments, they are so much fun to use, and I colored it in with warm Distress re-inkers. Then I die cut them in 3 different sizes of diamonds to keep it playful.

De tekststempel is er ééntje van m'n seizoenen set, dat past hier perfect bij. 

The textstamp that I used is 1 from my own seasons set, it fits perfectly.

Vrolijk Pasen

 

Hallo allemaal,

 

Hi everyone,

 

 Nog even en het is alweer Pasen, daarom heb ik voor mijn volgend projectje een cadeauzakje gemaakt. 

 

It's almost Easter, so I made a little giftbag for my next project.

 

Als basis heb ik een kraftzakje gebruikt en een stukje dessinpapier van Galeriapapieru. Met een randpons heb ik dan nog twee stukjes fluweelkarton geponst en deze vastgekleefd op het dessinpapier.

 

I took a craft bag and decorated it with a piece of paper from Galeria Papieru. For extra decoration I punched 2 borders out of cardstock and attached them under the DP.

 

Voor het afdrukje heb ik een stempel van Whimsy Stamps gebruikt en ingekleurd met potloden. Het is echt een heel schattig konijntje. 

 

I used a stamp from Whimsy Stamps and colored it with pencils, isn't this a cute little rabbit ?!

 

De eitjes die ik gebruikt heb zijn van Spellbinders. Twee daarvan heb ik geëmbossed en daarna heb ik er stickles opgedaan.

 

The eggs were die cut with a Spellbinders die. Two of those are embossed and decorated with some stickles.

 

Het gras en de kuikentjes zijn mallen van Impression Obsession . De kuikentjes heb ik even geblend met Distress Inkt en de pootjes heb ik gekleurd met de Tombow stempelstiften.

 

The grass and chicks are die cut from Impression Obsession dies. The little chicks were blended with Distress ink and the legs were colored with Tombow markers.

 

Om het af te maken heb ik er nog een klein tagje en een strikje rondgedaan. 

 

To finish it off I tied a little tag with bow to the bag.

 

Zo dat was mijn laatste projectje voor deze maand.

Word jij als eens graag verwend? Ik wel! Maar, nog liever verwen ik vrienden en leuke mensen om me heen. Daarom bedacht ik het volgende.

 

Chris heeft altijd van die zeer goede geurende zeep in huis. Deze heeft ook nog eens een prachtige wikkel (verpakking) eromheen. Echt tof als klein cadeautje, om iemand te bedanken of gewoon zomaar.

 

Do you like being spoiled? I do! But even better, I like to treat friends and people I like. Therefore, I came up with the following..

Chris Always has lovely scented soapbars in the house. This soap is also wrapped in beautiful paper. Great as small gift, to thank someone or just because.

 

Toch, om nu zomaar een gekocht stuk zeep te geven, vind ik.... je er wel snel vanaf maken. Dus ging ik zelf nog een mooie opsmuk maken.

 

Met de House Mouse stempel " Relaxing Bubbles", stempelde ik een kaartje. Heel toepasselijk bij de zeep, nietwaar?!

 

Still, just giving something you bought ..., I like to add something to make it more special and personal.

I stamped a card with The House Mouse stamp "Relaxing Bubbles,". Fitting for a soap bar, isn't it ?!

 

Ik ging met de kleurpotloden aan slag en toen het plaatje mijn zegen kreeg, stanste ik het uit, met de ovalen dies van de nestabilities. Nog één ovaal (een maatje groter)  met de scalloped ovale dies en dan beiden op elkaar kleven. De zeepbubbels heb ik aangestipt met glossy accent, zodat het echte belletjes lijken. Nu een band maken, die om de zeep heen kon. Beide zijden van de band geponst met een randpons.

 

I colored it in with pencils and when I was pleased with it, I die cut it out with the oval dies from nestabilities. Another oval (one size larger) with the scalloped oval dies and I glued them both  together. I added some Glossy accent on top of the soap bubbles , so they look like real bubbles.

Now make a band, which fits around the soap and punch both sides of the band out with an edge punch.

 

Is het een leuk cadeau om te geven...of ... te krijgen?

Hi everyone,

 

Hopelijk brengen deze 'Bird buddies' van Whipper Snapper een lentegevoel in jullie knutselkamer :-) Ik word er alleszins vrolijk van. 

 

Hopefully these 'Bird Buddies' from Whipper Snapper bring a feeling of spring to your crafting room :-) I know they make me smile.

 

 

Ik heb de stempel ingekleurd met Faber Castell potloden. De achtergrond heb ik op kleur gebracht met distress inkt 'Stormy sky' terwijl het afdrukje nog in de stans zat.

 

I colored them with Faber Castell pencils. When I die cut the stamped image, I left it in the die and blended the background with Distress Ink Stormy Sky.

 

 

Aan de binnenkant heb ik een tekst van Magenta gestempeld met memento inkt 'Love letter'.

 

On the inside I stamped a text from Magenta with Memento 'Love Letter'.

 

Wie weet zie ik jullie zaterdag 14 maart op de make & take in In 't woefke. Ik wil ook wel eens aan de slag met de brusho's. Hopelijk tot dan :-)

Het is alweer een tijdje geleden dat jullie een werkje van mij zagen verschijnen. Neen hoor, ik was het niet beu. Er kwamen alleen even enkele hindernissen op mijn weg. Maar... wat telt is dat ik jullie weer wat liefs ga laten zien. En.... lief is het zeker!

 

It's been a while since a work of mine appeared here. No worry, I wasn't tired of being a DT. There were just a couple of obstacles in my way. But ... what matters, is that I'm going to show you something lovely again. And .... love is it for sure!

 

14 februari nadert en dan hebben we voor onze allerliefste toch graag een kaartje, waarin we zetten hoe graag we hem/haar wel niet zien. Tja, we zeggen dit misschien al vaak, maar met een kaart erbij is het net iets anders.

February 14th is approaching time to look for a card for our loved one, to say how much we love him or her. Well, we might say this often, but with a card, it's just a bit more special.

Owl be your Valentine

Half januari voorbij, dus dringend tijd om aan Valentijn te beginnen denken.
Ik zag de laatste weken zo veel nieuws verschijnen dat ik popelde om er aan te kunnen beginnen.

January is halfway, time to start thinking about Valentine.

There were so many new things available at In 't Woefke, I couldn't wait to start creating.

Hier een kaartje dat ik maakte met de hartjesmal van Spellbinders als achtergrond.
Helemaal in traditionele kleuren rood en wit, met een gedurfde zwarte toets er bij…

Here a card I made with the Cascading Hearts background die from Spellbinders. And I used the traditional red and white colors with a daring black touch ...

De uil en de tekst zijn van ‘Paper Smooches’… Ben helemaal fan van dit merk.
Ik stempelde hem met zwarte versafine op rood papier en knipte hem uit.
De tekst stanste ik uit met een malletje dat ik in voorraad had. Denk dat het uit een oud uiltensetje van Sizzix komt.
De uil en de tekst met 3D opgekleefd. 

 The owl and text are from 'Paper Smooches' ... I really love this brand. I stamped it with black Versafine on red cardstock and cut it out.
The text was die cut with a die from my own stash I think it is from an old owl set from Sizzix.
The owl and text were added using foamtape.

Een gemakkelijke Valentijnskaart, maar toch wel ééntje met karakter…
Er volgen nog meer Valentijnsprojectjes van mij… Hou dit blog maar in de gaten…

Sneeuwvlokjes ...

Hallo trouwe blogkijker...

Vandaag ga ik me aan de sneeuwvlokjes wagen... niet dat ik ze buiten al wil zien...nee hoor! Geef mij maar het zonnetje!!

 

Today I'm going for snowflakes ... not that I want to have snow yet ... no sir, give me sun anytime ! 

 

Inge heeft zeer mooie Oud-Hollands papier kaarten... Je koopt ze in een pakketje. Ik nam voor mijn werkstuk een dubbele kaart.

 

 

Inge has some very nice cards made out of Old Hollands paper ... you can buy them in a package. I choose a square card for my project.

 

Daar ponste ik eerst een ster uit (met kerstster dies van Nestabilities). Vervolgens stak ik ze in een embossingmal ( sneeuwvlokjes van Sizzix) en stempelde dan onderaan dit leuke kerstpopje (Impression Obsession) dat naar boven staart.

 

First I die cut a star (Nestabilities) and next I run it through my Big Shot with the Sizzix embossingfolder with snow and on the bottom I stamped this cute little snowman looking up (from Impression Obsession).

 

 

Het popje kleurde ik in met distress inkt en op de rand van het mutsje en om een sneeuwtapijt te maken, gebruikte ik een Snow Writer (DecoArt of andere). Nog even binnenin een mooi ijssterren papiertje (nieuw in reeks  van Joy = Winter Paper Block). De tekst Sneeuwvlokjes (uit Inge's eigen stempelreeks) heb ik zodanig gestempeld, dat je hem deels kan ontdekken in de uitgestanste ster...

 

 

The snowbaby was colored with Distress ink and for the fur on the hat and for the snow I used a snow writer (Deco Art or another brand) On the inside I used a lovely paper with icecrystals (new paperpad from JOY - Winter Paper Block). The text snowflakes (from Inge's own exclusive stamps)  stamped so you could see it partially through the die cut star.

 

Ik hoop dat deze sobere voorstelling je kan bekoren..

Mijn eerste kerstkaart is een feit :-) De basiskaart heb ik met de silhouette gesneden. Het snijbestand heet 'A2 scallop birthday tie card' (ID 61678). 

De kaart heb ik verder afgewerkt met papier van van Pion 'Winter bird'.

 

My first Christmas card is finally ready :) The basecard is cut with the Silhouette, and the file is called 'A2 scallop birthday tie card' (ID 61678).

The paper  that I used on this card is from Pion 'Winter bird'. 

 

 

De sneeuwpop komt uit een stempelset van Stampendous 'Snowman banners'. Ik heb deze sneeuwpop op het papier van Pion gestempeld en ingekleurd met potloden. Zo verkrijg je een achtergrond die perfect bij de rest van de kaart past. 

 

The snowman is from the Stampendous set 'Snowman banners'. I stamped it on the Pion paper and colored it with pencils. This way the background compliments the rest of the card.

 

De randen van het ovaal heb ik afgewerkt met een gedeelte van een kerstboom uit een stempelset van Rubbernecker 'Snowflakes and stardust'.

 

The edge of the oval was stamped with the tip of a Christmas tree from the Rubbernecker set 'Snowflaks and Stardust'.

 

 

Aan de binnenkant heb ik één van Inge's kerstteksten gestempeld. Deze tekst drukt weer zo mooi en fijntjes af.

 

On the inside I used one of Inge's Christmas textstamps. This text has a crisp clean print.

 

Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie ervan vinden. Ik heb nog zoveel kaarten te gaan...elk jaar opnieuw dezelfde haast en spoed.

 

I'm curious what you think of this card, ... I have so many cards left to make, I'm way behind just as usual.

Saint Nickolas himself stamped these cute stamps from the Saint Nickolas set from Joy.

 

 

Deze werden voor één keertje ingekleurd met stiften.

Sinds kort zijn de kameleons te verkrijgen in ’t Woefke…

 

For once they were colored with markers.

Verder pakte de Sint alles in in mica en een houten bakje met wat stro van het paard…

 

Saint Nickolas wrapped everything in a wooden box with some straw from his horse ...

 

 

Hopelijk zijn alle andere knutselkindjes ook braaf geweest en is de Sint voor hen een kadootje gaan kopen in ’t Woefke.

 

I just hope all you crafty children have been good and Saint Nickolas got you a fun present from In 't Woefke ...

 

 

Ondergetekende zet vanavond alvast haar schoen mee aan de schoorsteen…

Yours truly will put out her shoe at the fireplace this evening .... who knows ....
