Vandaag laat ik voor de verandering nog eens een kaartje zien met een Whipper Snapper stempeltje: Housekeeper.

 

Today I'm showing a card with a Whipper Snapper stamp for a change, it's called: Housekeeper.

 

Dit kaartje is ingekleurd met potloden en geblend met geurloze terpentijn.

 

This card was colored with pencils and blended with oderless turpentine.

Penny Black en potloden...

Hi everyone ...

dit is werkelijk een hele mooie stempel uit de reeks van Penny Black. En ik ben de Intense Color potloden van Derwent ook eens gaan testen.

Van deze potloden breng je een weinig kleur aan en deze ga je met een waterpenseel uitschilderen. Oh zo leuk en al is het even oefenen, de resultaten zijn echt wel goed.

This really is a very beautiful stamp from the Penny Black collection. I wanted to test the Derwent Inktense pencils with this one.

You just need a little bit of color and the rest comes with a pencil and some water; so much fun eventhough it takes some practice, the results are really good.

 Proberen zou ik zeggen.

This is worth trying out.

Vandaag weer een kaartje met een stempel van Impression Obsession.

 

Today a new card with an Impression Obsession stamp.

 

Ik blijf ze fantastisch vinden, en ze zijn heel leuk om in te kleuren. Ook deze is weer ingekleurd met potloden.

 

I really love these stamps and they are so much fun to color. This one is colored with pencils again.

 

Deze stempels vragen ook niet veel aankleding, ze zijn prachtig op zichzelf.

 

These stamps don't ask for much and are gorgeous on their own.

Hi bloggers,

Vandaag haalde ik een mal van Elizabeth Crafts (accordeon circle) van onder het stof.

 

For this card I used a die from Elizabeth Crafts (accordeon circle) that I had lying around here.

De roos (impression Obsession) stempelde ik met zwarte versafine op oud Hollands papier. Nadien kleurde ik ze in met Derwent Inktense potloden. Dit zijn potloden op inktbasis. Wat je kleurt kan je nadien met water uitschilderen. In tegenstelling tot aquarelpotloden, kan je niet meer verder werken nadat je kleurwerk droog is. Zoals je in de naam hoort , de kleuren zijn intens.

 

 

The rose (Impression Obsession) was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black on Oud Hollands paper. Afterwarths I colored it with Derwent Inktense pencils. These pencils have intense colorse (as the name suggests) and what you color with the pencils can be colored out with water, but unlike watercolor pencils, once the color is dry, it is fixed and can't be changed anymore.

 

Op de groene achtergrond stempelde ik dezelfde roos enkele malen met versamark.

 

On the green background I stamped the same rose several times with Versamark.

Op naar een volgend projectje.

Omdat september helemaal in het teken van de kinderen staat, maken we deze maand allemaal kinderkaarten…

 September is all about children, so every DT member makes a card for little children.

 

Mijn eerste kaart is voor een 1-jarige. Gewoon omdat ik het een uitdaging vond om een leuke kaart voor een kleintje te maken. Ik gebruikte mijn kleuren zo, zodat ze zowel voor jongens als voor meisjes kan dienen…

My first card if for a 1 year old. Just because I found it a challenge to make a fun card for a little person. I used colors suitable for boys and for girls.

 

De poes van Marianne design kleurde ik in met mijn Derwent potloden, een hele uitdaging, geloof me…

The kitten from Marianne Design were colored using Derwent pencils, a real challenge, believe me ...

 

Ook de rand en de boordjes onderaan zijn van Marianne…

Even the edge and borders are dies from Marianne Design.

 

 

De belletjes, die ik hier als wimpels gebruikte, zijn van Memory Box, net zoals de letters en het cijfer…

The little bells, that I used as a banner, are from Memory Box, just as the letters and the number.

 

 

Het papier is van Pebbles… Vind dit papier echt super… je hebt dan ook telkens én ruitjes, én dotjes in dezelfde kleuren…

 The paper I used is from Pebbles ... I really love this paper .... on one side you got ginghams and on the other side dots, all in the same colors....

 Hi everyone,

Gisteren hebben we een super leuke kleurmiddag doorgebracht met ons team. Deze berenkaart is het resultaat geworden. Sommige onder ons hebben met Faber Castell gewerkt, anderen met Derwent. Hun kaarten kan je binnenkort vast op hun blog bewonderen.

 Yesterday we spend a fun afternoon with our DT. This teddy card is the result. Some of us wor

ked with Faber Castell, others with Derwent. I'm sure their cards will be up on their blog very soon, for you all to admire.

Dit olijke kwintet is een stempel van Whipper Snapper ' Pile of teddies'. Ik heb ervoor gekozen om ze in te kleuren met Faber Castell potloden. De achtergrond heb ik geblend met distress inkt (Frayed burlap en Tumbled glass). 

This cute quintet is a stamp from Whipper Snapper called 'Pile of Teddies'. I choose the Faber Castell pencils to work with. The background is blended with Distress ink (Frayed Burlap and Tumbled Glass).

 

De rand van berenpootjes is een pons van EK succes. Ik vind deze heel goed passen bij het afdrukje. Doordat het lichtbruine cardstock gemat is op donkerbruin cardstock komen de pootjes goed tot hun recht.

 The bearprints border is a punch from EK Succes. I love how it fits with this stamp. The colors used for the card really brings out the paws.

Geen vliegende beestjes deze keer maar een lief hondje.  Nou lief…ik denk dat hij wel wat uit te leggen heeft J Maar als je dan terug naar die puppylook kijkt kan je niet anders dan smelten vind ik.

Een simpel kaartje maar eentje dat wel voor heel veel gelegenheden kan gebruikt worden: voor een hondenliefhebber, als kinderkaart, voor iemand die gaat verhuizen,…

Mocht je ook zin hebben om deze puppy te gebruiken op je kaart is er wel één klein dingetje waar je rekening mee moet houden.  De stempel wordt niet meer gemaakt bij de groothandel maar het goede nieuws…Inge heeft er nog eentje in de winkel  dus snel zijn is de boodschap ;-)

No bugs flying by this time but a lovely little puppy. Well… maybe not as sweat as he has some explaining to do.  But when you look at that puppyface you can’t help it , you  just melt .

It’s a rather clean and simple card but it’s a card you can use for many occasions. Think about a doglover, for a child, maybe somebody who has moved,…

If you would like this stamp there is only one big problem: the manufacturer isn’t making it anymore but…Inge still has one in the shop so better be safe than sorry.

A new puppy

Hi, 

Rond deze tijd van het jaar worden er overal jonge dieren geboren. Ze zijn zo schattig als je ze ziet en ik kan daar echt van genieten . Daarom heb ik voor deze schattige stempel van Whipper Snapper gekozen. Wie ooit een jonge pup in huis heeft gehad , kan het zich misschien wel nog herinneren wat voor een deugenieterij zo een pup kan uithalen ... ja net zoals op de stempel.

 This time of year a lot of young animals set foot in this world. They are so cute and I really enjoy them. That's why I chose this cute stamp from Whipper Snapper. If you ever had a young pup in your home, you might remember how mischievous they can be .... just like on this stamp.

Ik heb het kaartje vrij simpel gehouden. De achtergrond heb ik gemaakt met versamark  en een achtergrondstempel van Impression Obsession. Het botje heb ik uitgesneden met de Silhouette en een beetje geblend. De stempel zelf is ingekleurd met Derwent potloden .

 I kept the card clean & simple, the background was made using Versamark and a background stamp from Impression Obsession. The bone was cut with the Silhouette and blended a bit. The stamp was colored with Derwent pencils.

Na het geboortekaartje voor een jongetje, wilde ik er toch ook eentje voor een meisje maken.

After my baby boy card, I wanted to make another one, this time for a baby girl.

 

Het pamperkaartje heb ik uitgesneden met de Silhouette. En daarna geblend met Spun Sugar.

 

This diapercard is cut with the Silhouette and blended with Spun Sugar.

Het eendje is van Inkadinkado en ingekleurd met Derwent potloden.

 

The little duck is from Inkadinkado and colored with Derwent pencils.

 

Het kaartje binnenin heb ik ook nog een keertje uitgesneden en daarop een tekstje gezet, met nog een klein eendje van de Memory Box mal Baby Stuff.

Hi everyone,

Het zijn zo een schatjes, deze konijntjes van Penny Black. En daarom wilde ik deze stempel gebruiken voor een kaartje.

 

They are so cute: Penny Black's little bunnies, and I really wanted to use them for a card.

 

Het is een heel simpel kaartje geworden . De stempel heb ik ingekleurd met Derwent potloden. En de achtergrond een beetje geblend met Distress Inkt.

 

It's a clean and simple card, colored with Derwent pencils. The background was blended with some Distress ink.

 

Als basiskaart heb ik wit linnen gebruikt . Verder aangekleed met gekleurd cardstock , een lintje en een paar bloemetjes.

For the base card I used Linnen cardstock. I just added some colored Bazzill cardstock, a ribbon and some flowers.

 

En zoals op het kaartje staat...

Als tweede ontwerp met de geweldige kippenstempels van Art Impressions, kwam ik op het idee om een kippenhok te maken… Ik vond hiervoor mijn inspiratie bij het hok dat in onze tuin staat…

For my second project with the fun chicken stamps from Art Impressions I got the idea to make a chicken coop .. I found the inspiration for this in my own garden ...

 

Het patroon tekende ik ook deze keer weer zelf en het was echt niet moeilijk… Manlief vond voor me de kippengaas in zijn favoriete hobbyshop… Nog wat raffia, bloemetjes en eitjes er bij en ik had er alweer een leuke paasdecoratie bij…

The pattern I drew myself, this isn't very hard to do ... Hubby found the chickenwire in his favorite DIY store .. some flowers, eggs, .. and I had a fun easter deco piece.

 

Het papier is van Bazzil en de stempel is ingekleurd met potlood.

The paper is Bazzill, the stamp is colored with pencils.

Toen ik deze stempels van Art imprssions ontdekte, heb ik ze meteen op mijn verlanglijstje gezet… Ik kreeg ze dan ook al met kerstmis, maar het duurde tot nu voor ik er iets mee maakte… 
Maar toen twee weken geleden deze achtergrondstempel van Impression obsession bij Inge binnen kwam, was de inspiratie er ineens…

When I discovered these Art Impressions stamps, I immediatly put them on my wishlist ...

I got them for Christmas, but it took a while before I knew what to do with them ...

But when the backgroun stamp from Impression Obsession arrived at Inge's store, the inspiration hit me...

Heb de afdruk ingekleurd met mijn derwents. De flap van deze easelkaart blijft gewoon achter een strik met raffia staan… een paasbloem en wat eitjes maken de kaart af…

The stamp is colored with Derwent. The easelcard stays open with the bow, ... some daffodils and some eggs finish the card off.

Hou dit blog zeker in de gaten want er komt nog meer van dit…

Winter Tilda

Hier een kaartje met een stempel van de laatste Sweet Christmas Dream collectie van Magnolia: Winter Tilda. Hier is Tilda ingekleurd met potloden op kraftpapier, dezelfde techniek die ik op de Kerstkaart met het meesje gebruikt heb.

Here another xmas card, made with a stamp from the Sweet Christmas Dream collection from Magnolia: Winter Tilda. She's colored with pencils on Bazzill kraft cardstock, the same technique that I used on the xmascard with chickadee.

Het papier is van Maja Design, het ribbelkarton van Jillibean. Het cheesecloth dat achter het plaatje zit, wordt tegenwoordig ook vaak gebruikt op kaarten, en geeft wat extra dimensie. De swirl was een mal van Bosskutz.

The paper is from Maja Design and the corrugated paper is from Jillibean.

Kerstkaart met stempels

Vandaag laat ik jullie m'n 2de kaartje zien voor de workshop van morgen. Op dit kaartje gaan we met Derwent potloden werken. De stempels zijn allemaal van Impression Obsession.

Today I'm showing you my 2nd card for tomorrow's workshop. This is colored with Derwent pencils, the stamps are all from Impression Obsession.

Kaart Snow Covered Bridge

Deze stempel vond ik al van het begin prachtig, hij is van Serendipity en toont een sneeuwlandschap met een typisch Amerikaanse brug die overdekt is. De stempelafdruk is ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en de sneeuw is met stickles versiert.
De pons is van Martha Stewart.

I loved this stamp the first time I saw it, it's from Serendipity and it shows a typical American covered bridge. It's coloured in with Derwent Softcolors and the snow is covered with stickles.
The punch used on this card is from Martha Stewart.

Nieuw binnen: Serendipity Stamps

Ik heb er een tijdje op moeten wachten, maar het was het meer dan waard, een nieuwe stempellijn: Serendipity Stamps.
Dit zijn prachtige rode rubber stempels van héél goede kwaliteit, de afdrukken zijn haarscherp en er is keuze zat in onderwerpen.
It took some time, but worth the wait: new rubber stamps from Serendipity

Hier zie je alvast een voorbeeld van de stempelafdruk en daarnaast een prachtige kaart ingekleurd met kleurtjes.

Hier nog een voorbeeld, nu van een sneeuwlandschap, afgedrukt met Versafine inkt en ingekleurd met Derwent potloden en geurloze terpentijn. Nog wat glitter erop en klaar is je afdruk. Voor de kaart heb ik het prentje uitgestanst met de Nestabilities.
Here another example, this time a snowy landscape, I've used Versafine to stamp it, and colored it with Derwent Coloursoft pencils, added some glitter and it's finished. For the card, I used the nestabilities and diecut part of the design.

Op de volgende foto is het plaatje links ingekleurd met Derwent potloden, het plaatje rechts is met distress inkt en een waterpen ingekleurd, hiermee zijn de kleuren veel warmer.
This picture shows the same stamp but while the one on the left is coloured with Derwent Coloursoft pencils, the one on the right is coloured with Distress inkt and a waterpen, making the colours more vibrant.

Sommige rubber stempels zijn ook als setje verkrijgbaar en deze zijn reeds gemount op foam zodat je ze kan afdrukken met behulp van een acryl blok.
Some stamps are also available in a set, these ones are already mount on foam, so you can use them instantly on an acrylic block.

Deze stempels zijn Unmounted (zo zijn ze o.a. goedkoper), dat wil zeggen dat ze niet op een houten blokje komen, maar met behulp van Kling-on kan je ze simpel mounten zodat je ze kan gebruiken met een acryl blokje, en om ze op te bergen kan je ze op een speciale gelamineerde sheet plakken en in een ringband steken, zo nemen ze vééél minder plaats in. Kling-on is vergelijkbaar met EZ-mount, maar is veel soepeler om te knippen, is goedkoper, maar zeker even goed van kwaliteit.

De Kling-on sheets en gelamineerde sheets zijn ook in onze winkel verkrijgbaar.

The Serendipity stamps arrive here unmounted (what makes them cheaper), this means they are not on a wooden block. Just use Kling-on and you can mount them easily on an acrylic block, and for storing them you can use the special laminated sheets and put them in a binder, this way they take less room. You can compare Kling-on with EZ-mount, but it is easier to cut, cheaper but that doesn't mean it is of lesser quality.

Hier op deze detail foto zie je het verschil duidelijker, links zie je de rubber stempel zoals ze binnenkomen, rechts zie je ze gemount op Kling-on, klaar voor gebruik met acryl blokje.
Here you can see the diffrence very well, the stamp on the left is unmounted (how we sell them) on the right you see a stamp mounted on Kling-on, ready for use on an acrylic block.

De stempels zijn reeds zo'n succes, dat we volgende week een nieuwe bestelling gaan plaatsen, we houden jullie natuurlijk op de hoogte!
