Hi everyone,

Nog 1tje om het af te leren :)

een kleurijke vlinder kaart !

Just 1 more just because I love butterflies

this time it's a colorful card !

Deze keer ben ik aan de slag gegaan

met een stempel van Creative expressions ....

Eerst heb ik hem 2x gestempeld met Versafine black

en dan heb ik mijn vlinder (vleugels) in donkere 

- maar hevige - kleuren ingekleurd

met m'n aquarel potloden: van orange tot rood

en blauw tot purper ...

de bloemen heb ik lichter gekleurd met rozen en lila

en er mocht ook wat geel bij

de cirkeltjes heb ik licht blauw gekleurd ...

This time I worked with a Creative Expressions stamp

I stamped it 2x with Versafine black

and then I colored the wings in bright colors

with my watercolor pencils:

from  orange to red

and from blue to purple

the flowers are lighter in pink and lilac

and a couple of yellow ones

the circles I colored in light blue ...

Dan nam ik m'n 2de vlinder, 

en hier heb ik de vleugels lichter ingekleurd:

van geel naar orange

en licht tot medium blauw ...

de bloemen heb ik in roze en lila gedaan

Daarna heb ik de vleugels en 2 bloemen uitgesneden

en die heb ik bovenop m'n eerste vlinder gekleefd

de vleugels heb ik los gelaten

en wat omhoog gezet

zo zie je eronder de andere kleuren ...

Then I colored my 2nd butterfly

here I used some light bright colors:

yellow to orange

and light to medium blue ...

The flowers I kept the same in pink and lilac

Then I cut the butterfly wings and 2 flowers out

and attached it on top of my 1st image

I left the wings loose and a bit higher

so you can see the other colors underneath ...

Ik hoop dat jullie het op deze foto kunnen zien,

maar ik heb nog wat glitter

op de vleugels en enkele bloemen aangebracht

(Wink of Stella - Spectrum  Noir)

dit geeft een mooi effekt

Hi everyone,

 

Voor m'n laatste kaartje van deze maand met de prachtige Power Poppy stempels

heb ik nog eens voor een Kerstkaartje gekozen ...

 

For my last card this month with the gorgeous Power Poppy stamps

I chose another xmas card ...

 

Ook deze stempel komt uit de set Cozy Cupfulls maar deze is veel soberder ingekleurd;

ik heb nl. maar 2 kleuren Faber Castell A. Dürer aquarel potloden en 1 Wink of Stella gebruikt nl: Deep Red (223), Chrome Oxyde Green (278) en Wink of Stella Silver

 

This stamp is also from the set Cozy Cupfulls, but this one is very simple in color, I used only 2 watercolor pencils from Faber Castell and 1 Wink of Stella:

Het pakje en de tas vooraan heb ik nogmaals gestempeld, gekleurd en daarn heb ik het netjes uitgeknipt en met foamtape op het onderste plaatje gekleefd. Ik blijf dit een leuk effekt vinden.

 

The present with mug was stamped again on a seperate piece of paper, colored and fuzzy cut so I could attach it on the bottom print with foamtape. I really like this effect.

Hi everyone,

 

Ja ik weet het, Kerstmis is nog ver weg, het is hoog zomer, maar toch worden er al veel Kerstkaartjes gemaakt, om zeker alles op tijd klaar te hebben ... en juist omdat Power Poppy ook heel mooie Kerststempels heeft, mag dit kaartje zeker niet ontbreken ....

 

Yes I know, Christmas is still far away, it's summer, but still ... lots of people are busy all year round, to get everything finished in time ... and because Power Poppy also has really lovely xmas stamps

I want to show those too ...

 

Dit is een stempeltje uit de set Cozy Cupfuls, dat ik met Versafine Onyx Black op fluweel karton heb gestempeld en vervolgens ingekleurd met m'n Faber Castell A. Dürer aqarelpotloden.

Hier en daar heb ik nog een accentje gegeven met de Wink of Stella glitter markers.

 

This stamp is from the set Cozy Cupfuls and I stamped with Versafine Onyx Black on fluweel karton and then I colored it with my Faber Castell A. Dürer aqarelpotloden.

For extra effect I added some details with Wink of Stella glitter markers.

Hi everyone,

 

Een kaartje voor vele gelegenheden, verjaardag, pensioen, verloving, huwelijk, ....

Ik heb het dan ook heel simpel gehouden; het stempeltje (Artemio) heb ik op fluweelkarton gestempeld met Versafine Onyx Black en daarna ingekleurd met Faber Castell A.Dürer aquarelpotloden (dit was heel snel gedaan, gewoon hier en daar wat kleur en klaar). Nog wat Wink of Stella clear over de vogeltjes en daarna uitgestanst met de MFT Stitched Fishtail Flags.

 

A card for many occasions: birthday, pension, marriage, engagement, ...

I kept it quite simple, I stamped the birdcages from Artemio with Versafine Onyx Black on fluweelkarton and colored them with Faber Castell A. Dürer watercolor pencils (this was so quick, just add a bit of color here and there and finished). I just added some wink of Stella clear on top of the birds and then I die cut them with the MFT Stitched Fishtail Flags.

 

Daarna heb ik nog een strookje uitgestanst met een tekstje erop en heb ik

1 van de vogeltjes erbij gestempeld en ingekleurd. Daarna heb ik alles op papier

van Galeria Papieru gekleefd, met daaronder een stukje Bazzill bling dat ik

met een EK Succes border pons heb bewerkt.

Dan alles op een witte kaart en m'n kaartje is weeral af!

 

Then I die cut a small border, stamped my text and 1 of the birds, colored the bird

and attached it on a piece of Galeria Papieru paper. Under it is a piece

of Bazzill bling and I punched a border with an EK Succes border punch.

I attached it all on a white card and that's it !

Eén stempel...4 andere kaarten...

Hi Bloggers,

 

We kopen vaak een stempel, maken er enkele kaarten mee en daar ligt hij dan....

We moeten een andere stempel hebben! Ik wil vandaag tonen dat je

met die ene stempel anders heel wat mogelijkheden hebt.

 

We often buy stamps, make a card with it and then ... it just lies there ....

We need more stamps ! But today I want to show you,

you can use that 1 stamp more times and still make it different.

 

Omdat er al een tijdje spraken is van sneeuw, wou ik hier iets mee doen.

Maar weer een keer een sneeuwman of een rendiertje...

Nee... ik ging op zoek tussen mijn Penny Black reeks en kwam dit leuk egeltje tegen, een stempel die helemaal niks met winter of sneeuw te maken had. Hij zit in een set clear stamps: Wonderful Day.

 

 

And while they talk about snow the couple of days, I wanted to do something with it.

But another snowman or reindeer ... no ... I wanted something diffeent, so I looked at my Penny Black stamps and found this little cute hedgehog that has nothing to do with snow or winter.

This little cutie is part of a clear set called Wonderful Day.

 

Meteen kwam de gedachte bij me op..." Even kijken of het al sneeuwt"... en ben ik ermee aan het werk gegaan. De vier kaarten zijn met dus met één en hetzelfde stempeltje gedaan. Ook alle vier ingekleurd met aquarelpotloden.

 

But as soon as I saw it, I thought, does it snow already? And I went to work.

These next 4 cards are all made with the same stamp and colored with watercolor pencils.

 

 

 

Nummer één zie je hier... een gekleurde versie.

De dies die ik gebruikte zijn allemaal van MFT. Er zijn er zoveel leuke in!

Het tekstje is uit de In't Woefke reeks...

 

 

This is the first one, a colored version.

The dies that I used are from MFT, they are so fun to work with!

The text is from the In 't Woefke collection Dutch text stamps.

 

De sneeuw en vlokjes zijn met een sneeuwpen gedaan en je kan de sneeuw ook

met een Wink of Stella pen bewerken, dan krijgt hij een glittering.

 

The snow on the ground and the falling snow is made with a snowpen,

you can also add some Wink of Stella for a bit of glitter.

 

 

Nummer twee is een sepia versie. Enkel bruine tinten gebruikt dus...

 

 

Number two is a sepia one, all in brown colors...

 

 

Nummer drie deed ik met enkel grijze en zwarte potloden...

 

 

Number three is only done with grey and black ...

 

 

En tenslotte nummer vier kreeg een hele lichte en rozige tint...

 

 

And finally number four got a light pink wash ...

 

Ik hoop dat ik jullie kon inspireren om ook een keer met één stempel aan slag te gaan.

Cast a Spell

Hi everyone,

 

Vandaag laat ik jullie een kaart zien die ik met de nieuwe

Inkadinkado set: Witching Hour, heb gemaakt

 

Today I'm showing you a card I made with the new Inkadinkado set: Witching Hour

 

Eerst heb ik in de 4 hoeken de ronde knop gestempeld en daarna heb ik daartussen de tekst

gestempeld met m'n handige stempelhulp ...

 

First I stamped the round button in the 4 corners and then I stamped the text

Daarna heb ik eerst de kat en de hoed gestempeld en heb ik beide met masking tape bedekt, dan heb ik de bezem gestempeld, zodat die netjes achter de kat en hoed zit.

 

Then I stamped the cat and hat, masked both with masking tape and then I stamped the broom, so it looks like it stands behind the cat and hat.

 

Dan heb ik alles gekleurd met Faber Castell aquarel potloden en heb ik m'n kaart eerst gemat op groene cardstock en dan op een zwarte kaart. Op de gesp heb ik nog wat Wink of Stella aangebracht, maar dat zie je niet op de foto.

 

Finally I colored everything with my Faber Castell watercolor pencils and then I matted the image on green cardstock and then on a black card. On the buckle I added some Wink of Stella, but sadly it doesn't show on the photo.

Moederdag komt er aan !

Morning everyone,

 

binnenkort is het in augustus moederdag. Op tijd begonnen is half gewonnen zegt men wel eens, daarom bezorg ik jullie alvast deze inspiratiekaart om aan de slag te gaan.

 

Soon we'll celebrate Mother's day in August, high time to start creating !

So here some inspiration for you all.

 

Ik nam een vrij klassieke stempel uit de reeks van Joy uit de doos, drukte de vlinder een keertje extra af. De uitgeknipte vlinder kleurde ik met aquarelpotloden en plakte hem er wat verhoogd op.

Zo krijg je een mooier effect op je kaart. Alles afgewerkt met Wink Of Stella en wat plakparels.

Dat geeft de kaart net dat ietsje meer...

 

 

I took a rather classic stamp from the Joy collection, and stamped the butterfly twice.

The fuzzy cut butterfly I colored with water pencils and attached it on top of the other stamped butterfly to create dept. I finished it off with some Wink of Stella and some adhesive Pearls;

just to give that something special...

Hay whatzup buttercup

welkom hier op het blog om een verse creatie met Whimsy Stamps te bekijken.

Een beetje inspiratie kan nooit geen kwaad. Ik ging aan de slag met

een ander dier uit de collectie, een koe ... Superschattig !

 

Welcome here, for a new creation with Whimsy Stamps. It’s always fine to get some inspiration.

I used another animal from the stamp collection, the cow. She’s supercute !

 

 

Vermits er geen pasklare koeienachtergrond bestaat, maakte ik hem dan maar zelf van uitgeknipte stukjes zwart papier, echt moeilijk is dat niet =) Alleen een beetje geduld is vereist.

 

Because there’s no cow pattern die or stamp to make a background, I desided to designed it myself and I cut all the little pieces out of black papier, it’s not difficult, you just need some patience =).

Whimsy Bath Cat

 

Goeiemorgen iedereen,

 

Hi everyone,

een nieuwe maand, een nieuwe uitdaging, voor ons, als DT van ‘In ’t Woefke’. We kregen de opdracht om aan de slag te gaan met Whimsy Stamps. Ik kende het merk van vroeger, maar nu hebben ze een enorm leuk en ruim aanbod ! Uitdaging aanvaard ! Toen zag ik deze kat in bad, geweldig vond ik hem. Helemaal verkocht ben ik. Het was dus niet zo moeilijk om er iets leuks mee te maken. Vooral omdat het plaatje echt voor zich spreekt vind ik.

 

a new month, a new challenge for us, the DT from ‘In ’t Woefke’. This time the challenge was, work with Whimsy Stamps. I knew this brand already, but now they have lots of fun creations. Challenge accepted ! Then I saw this cat in the bath, great isn’t she ? I was completely sold, so it wasn’t hard at all to do something great with it. Especially because the image speaks for itself.

Dream

Hi bloggers,

 

Vandaag laat ik jullie een kaart zien waarop ik o.a. met deze flourish van Dusty Attic gewerkt heb:

 

Today I'm showing you a card with this flourish from Dusty Attic:

 

 

Maar deze keer wou ik eens iets anders doen, dus heb ik de flourish eerst met gesso bewerkt (wel oppassen dat je figuur niet stuk gaat) en daarna heb ik het met  Lindy's Stamp gang Starburst bespoten: de bovenaan met Blue Hawaiian Blue en onderaan met Sea Mist Green.

 

This time I wanted to do something completely different, so I took my flourish and painted it carefully with gesso (you don't want to rip it apart) and then I used my Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst on it: on the top I used Blue Hawaiian Blue and on the bottom I used Sea Mist green.

 

Ik heb dezelfde kleuren ook gebruikt om wat spatten op m'n wit linnen cardstock aan te brengen, maar hiervoor heb ik het groen bovenaan gebruikt en het blauw onderaan, zo steekt alles wat beter af.

 

I used the same colors to add some spatters on my white linnen cardstock, but for the card I switched the colors, green on top and blue at the bottom.

 

 

 

Terwijl alles goed aan het drogen was, heb ik uit wit linnen een volle vlinder (Memory Box Darla) gestanst en uit vellum een open vlinder (Memory Box Vivienne).

 

While this was drying, I die cut the Memory Box Darla butterfly from white linnen cardstock and the Memory Box butterfly Vivienne from vellum.

 

De randen van het klokje (lasercut wood) heb ik met Distress Tumbled Glass geblend. Daarna heb ik, ook enkel op de randen, nog wat Wink of Stella op aangebracht. Hieronder zie je een close up ...

 

The edges of my clock (lasercut wood) I blended with Distress Tumbled Glass and then I added some Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle. Here's a close up ...



 

Ik heb met Tacky Glue m'n flourish op de kaart gekleefd en daarna heb ik de vlinder in het midden doorgeknipt en de vleugels achter het klokje gekleefd en alles op de flourish bevestigd.

Nog een stempel van Kaisercraft erop Dream en dan alles op een witte kaart gekleefd,

en dit is dan het uiteindelijke resultaat geworden:

 

I attached my flourish with Tacky Glue on my card, I cut the butterfly in the middle and attached the wings behind the little clock. Then I added it all on top of my flourish, stamped Dream from Kaisercraft on my card and attached it all on a plain white card.

And this is my final result:

 

 

Hopelijk heeft dit jullie geïnspireerd om ook eens met deze prachtige figuren te werken.
