Furever Friends ... zo noemt deze leuke stempelset 

van My Favorite Things.

This stampset from MFT is called Furever Friends

De stempel is ingekleurd met FC Polychromos, 

uitgestanst met de bij horende mallen,

nog een hartje en pootje erbij

en een tekst ... dat op een strookje papier

met een ponsrand ... meer heeft deze kaart niet nodig.

The stamp was colored using FC Polychromos,

die cut with the matching dies,

a heart with paw and some text

all on a piece of paper with a punched border

and this card is finished.

Hallo iedereen,

 

Hi everyone,

 

In de Gummiapan collectie zit o.a. ook deze heerlijk uitziende cupcake stempel

én er is ook een bijpassend malletje van .... daar moest ik iets mee doen !

 

In the Gummiapan collection is a very tasteful looking cupcake stamp

with matching die ... I just had to make something with it !

 

Eerst heb ik met Versafine Onyx Black gestempeld op fluweel karton en verhit om te fixeren, en daarna ben ik met m'n Faber Castell A. Dürer aquarel potloden aan de slag gegaan.

 

 First I stamped the image with Versafine Onyx Black on fluweel cardstock and heat set it so it wouldn't blead. Then I started coloring with my Faber Castell A. Dürer watercolor pencils.

 

Daarna heb ik de cupcake netjes uitgestanst en op een witte uitgestanste cirkel (Crealies) gekleefd met daaronder een iets grotere cirkel uit Linnen donker kraft (hetzelfde als de kaart). Daaronder heb ik nog een roze geruite cirkel (MFT Mini Scallop circle) gekleefd.

 

Then I die cut the cupcake and attached it on a white die cut circle (Crealies) with a slightly bigger circle under it from Dark linnen Cardstock (same as the card). Lastly I die cut a pink gingham circle (MFT Mini Scallop circle) and attached everything on top of it.

 

Nog een boordje uitgeponst met een oude Martha Stewart pons die ik heb en m'n kaartje is klaar !

 

Finally I punched a border with an older Martha Stewart punch

I had lying around and my card is finished !

Coctailboekje als cadeau...

Hi bloggers,

 

fijn jou weer te zien. Vandaag laat ik een boekje zien,

speciaal gemaakt om iemand op zijn verjaardag cadeau te geven.

 

Nice to see you again. Today I'm showing a mini album,

made especially for someones birthday

 

 

Het kaft werd opgebouwd met laag op laag op laag en in de tinten groen gehouden.

Je kan hiervoor ieder soort designpapier gebruiken.

 

The cover was build layer on layer in green, you can use every kind of design paper for this.

 

 

Ook heb ik met een Martha Steward pons een mooi randje gemaakt aan één van de stroken.

 I also punched a beautiful border with a Martha Stewart punch

 

We werken deze maand met de "Power Poppy" stempels

en vermits het een coctailboekje ging worden, vond ik de kan en glas wel heel leuk.

Jullie zagen deze al bij de projektjes van de andere DT leden.

Ze zijn ingekleurd met de potloden Caran d'Ache Museum aquarel.

 

This month we are working with Power Poppy stamps, and since I wanted to make a cocktail recipe album, this glass and jar were perfect, you've already seen what the others made with this stamp.

I used Caran D'Ache museum aquarel pencils to color the stamp.

 

 

Ik ben gaan googlen en heb op het internet coctails bijeen gezocht, met de bereidingswijze.

Deze heb ik afgeprint en in het boekje gekleefd.

Ook enkele mooie teksten.

Ieder blad kreeg ook nog een fijn accent...

 

 

I googled for some cocktail pictures and how to make them and printed them off and added them to my mini album, I also included some beautiful texts.

And added a nice accent to each page...

 

De bladen heb ik door de Zutter-bind-it-all gehaald

en met een binddraad aaneen bevestigd.

Het resultaat mag er best zijn...

Ik hoop dat de jarige er blij mee zal zijn.

 

 

I used my Zutter to bind the mini album and am very pleased with the result

I hope the person who is going to get it will like it.

Oeps, ik zat weer achter op het schema lieve blogvrienden... Sorry dat jullie even op mijn werkje hebben moeten wachten. Maar ik kom dan toch weer met een specialleke.

Het is een variant op de pop-up kaarten.

 

It's a kind of a pop up card variation

 

 

Zoals jullie zien is het een kaart voor Halloween, maar natuurlijk kan het voor

vele gelegenheden aangepast worden hè.

 

As you can see, this is a Halloween card, but you can easily make it for another occasion.

 

 

De leuke stempeltjes binnenin zijn van C.C.Designs, het web is van Memory Box, de kadertjes zijn van My Favorite Things: wonky windows.

 

 

The fun stamps are from C.C. Designs, and the spiderweb is from Memory Box. The frames are the Wonky Windows from My Favorite Things

 

 

De bloeddruppels zijn van een pons van Martha Steward en de gestanste letters aan de buitenkant zijn van Quickutz,  die van de binnenkant zijn van Taylored expressions.

Nog wat wiebeloogjes erbij ...

 

 

The blood drops are from an old Martha Stewart punch and the letters on the outside are from Quickutz, the letters on the inside are from Taylored Expressions. I also added some funny eyes ...

Zomertijd ...

Of het nu regent of de zon schijnt. Of nu de hemel grijs of helblauw is... één ding is zeker... het is zomer!

 

Whether it rains or whether the sun is shining, whether the sky is gray or blue ... one thing is certain .... it's summer !

 

 

En voor mijn projektje ging ik deze keer voor een scrappagina.

 

And for my project I decided on a scrap page.

 

Je hoeft daarvoor geen foto's te gebruiken, zoals je hier zal zien.

Een mooi ingekleurde kaart kan evengoed gebruikt worden.

 

 

As you can see you don't have to use a photo.

You can just as easily use a colored card as a centerpoint.

 

Ik heb de stempel poppies van Joy crafts gebruikt en deze ingekleurd met de Zig Brush Color pens. De achtergrond met panpastels bewerkt. Verder de Vieuwmaster schijf van Tim Holtz uitgeponst en met witte inkt en letterstemeltjes "zomer" gestempeld.

 

 

I used the stamp with poppies from Joy and colored it with Zig Clean Color brush markers.

The background was made with Panpastels. I die cut the viewmaster from Tim Holtz and stamped the titel Summer in white.

 

 

Een mooi achtergrond papier, van oud vintage behangpapier een grote scallop ovaal uitgestanst. Zelf een mooie lace maken met de pons van Martha Steward... het is zo makkelijk en het zijn prachtige taart onderleggertjes ook.  Twee rode en 1 zwarte bloem op elkaar gezet met een splitpen. De swirls zijn van Sizzix en de tekstjes van MFT.

 

 

A beautiful background paper, and a scallop oval die cut from old vintage wallpaper. I also made a doily with the Martha Stewart punch ... it is so easy and it's great for little cakes also. The red and black flowers were attached with a brad, the swirls are made with a die from Sizzix and the little text are made with a MFT clear stamp set.

Happy 2016

Een zeer fijn en gezond 2016 ook vanwege mij...

 

Also from me, a very nice and healthy 2016...

 

Wij zijn als DT-team weer zo verwend door Inge! Onder de kerstboom lag voor ieder DT-lid een prachtig pakket, met allerlei hele leuke spullen. Zo leuk, dat ik er ook meteen mee aan slag wou gaan.

 

We - the DT - are so spoiled by Inge! Under the Christmas tree was a stunning prestent for each DT member, with all sorts of really nice stuff. So much that I immediately wanted to get creative with it.

 

Daarnaast had ik ook nog de fantastische "doily punch starter set" van Martha Stewart besteld en die was binnen gekomen... dus de pret kon niet op.

Mocht je nog niet weten wat te kopen met de centjes die je kreeg tijdens de feestdagen.... Wel dit is een echte aanrader! Ik ben er zo blij mee.

 

In addition, I also ordered the fantastic "doily punch starter set" from Martha Stewart that arrived just in time, ... so this made me want to get home and get started even faster.

If you still don't know what to buy with the money you received during the holidays .... Well this is a real winner! I'm so happy with it!

 

Deze pons maakt fantastische kanten kleedjes, die je kan verwerken in kaarten, scrapbookpagina's of bij je bakwerk en/of tafelversiering...  Een klein minpunt... er zit geen werkbeschrijving bij in de doos. Maar op het web kan je kijken hoe de pons werkt (hier alvast een link naar een filmpje) of je vraagt de uitleg aan Inge natuurlijk. Ik heb het zonder de twee voor elkaar gekregen, dus moeilijk is het niet.

 

This punch makes great lace doilies, that you can use on cards, scrapbook pages or if you like baking and need some doilies or for your table décorations .... One small downside ... there is no job description included in the box. But on the internet, you can watch the punch work (here is a link to 1 YouTube video) or you ask Inge how it works. I got it to work without the two, so it is not difficult.

 

Maar nu genoeg hierover. Hier is mijn kaart voor vandaag.

 

But enough of that. Here is my card for today.

 

De basis is 13x13 cm in craftpapier. Daarop heb ik een halve doily

(van mijn nieuw speelgoedje dus) gekleefd in wit linnen papier.

Links een stukje gescheurd ecru cardstock, waarop ik met "Rich Cacao" van Memento Luxe een tekst heb afgedrukt.

 

The basecard is 13x13 cm in kraft paper. Then I made a half doily (with my new toy) from white linen cardstock and attached it on the right side of the card. On the left I put a smaller piece of torn ecru card stock, on which I stamped a text with "Rich Cocoa" Memento Luxe.

 

Vervolgens een tag-envelopje gemaakt. Onderkant hiervan is een  kraft tag en bovenaan een stukje designpapier van Autentique.

 

Next I made a tag envelope. This is a kraft tag and on top a piece of design paper from Autentique.

Dan een tweede tag gemaakt uit ecru cardstock en met restjes papier versiert. Het tekstlabeltje komt uit een vel, met allerlei kerst- en eindejaarswensen van Around the block.

Het rondje "Joy" hebt ik uit een vel van Teresa Collins geponst.

 

Then I made a second tag from ecru card stock and decorated it with scraps of paper. The text comes from a label sheet, with all kinds of Christmas and New Year wishes from Around the block.

The circle with "Joy" I punched out of a sheet of Teresa Collins paper.

 

 

De tag met Happy 2016... Wel die is gemaakt, met cijfer-dies (taylored expressions) uit mijn pakket dat ik cadeau kreeg.

The tag with Happy 2016 ... Well that was created with number dies (from taylored expressions) from my present that I got from Inge.

Christmas Cottage

Hi everyone,

 

Herinneren jullie mijn Spooky Mansion nog ? Ik vond het zelf zo leuk om te maken, dat ik besloot het nog eens over te doen, maar dan als een Christmas Cottage met dakraampjes en al.

 

Do you remember my Spooky Mansion ? I enjoyed making it so much, I decided to do it again, but this time as a Christmas Cottage with windows in the attic.

 

Ik heb dezelfde lichtjes in het huis gebruikt, je kan kiezen tussen verschillende kleuren en combinaties, maar het mooiste is toch als je de kleuren laten veranderen, zo krijgt het huis ook telkens een andere sfeer.

 

I used the same lights as before, you can choose between different colors or color combinations. I like it when alle the colors change continuously.

 

Toen kwam de uitdaging om Kerstbomen te vinden die het ijzige effekt nog versterken. Gelukkig is het nu het moment om ze te vinden, deze hebben niet allen glitter maar zijn ook met ledverlichting.

 

Then there was the challenge to find Christmas trees, but not just any trees, they needed to enforce the icy effect I wanted. Luckily now is the moment to find them, and these are great, with glitter and LED lights inside.

 

Omdat alles wit is, is het wel belangrijk om verschillende structuren e.d. te gebruiken zodat het niet te ééntonig wordt.

 

Since everything is white, it is really important to use different textures and such so it doesn't become too boring.

 

En juist dat tikkeltje groen, goud en rood, maakt het af.

 

And just a little bit of green, gold and red finishes it off.

 

De voorkant van de Christmas Cottage lijkt met houten latten gemaakt te zijn en dit effekt kreeg ik d.m.v. een embossing folder. En natuurlijk mocht een hertje niet ontbreken in het landschap !

 

The front of my Christmas cottage looks like it is made with wooden slats. This I made with an embossing folder. And what would a snowy landscape be without little deers ?!!

 

Op deze foto zie je dat ik het papier van het dak niet alleen met een embossing folder heb bewerkt, maar ik heb er ook nog glitter op aangebracht. Onder de dakrand heb ik ijspegels aangebracht d.m.v. een mal van Marianne Design.

 

On this picture you can see the paper on the roof was made with an embossing folder and then I added some glitter. Under the eaves I attached some die cut icicles from Marianne Design.

 

Het was een hele uitdaging om de dakramen te maken, maar na enig denk- en puzzelwerk

is het me gelukt !

 

It was quite a challenge to make the windows in the attic, but after some thinking and planning,

I got it exactly as I wanted !

 

Het hekje is gemaakt met een mal van Impression Obsession en voor het groen heb ik een pons van Martha Stewart gebruikt.

 

The fence is made with a die from Impression Obsession and for the pine garland I used a punch from Martha Stewart.

 

Aan de achterkant is een deur zodat ik makkelijk de theelichtjes kan aan en uit doen. Hier heb ik 2 verschillende embossing folders gebruikt zodat het lijkt op een wollige gebreide trui.

 

On the back I made a door so I can turn the lights on and off very easy. And here I used 2 different embossing folders so the back looks like a warm woolen sweater.

 

Aan de zijkant heb ik gekozen voor een embossing folder die het effekt van een stenen muur geeft.

 

On the side of the cottage I choose for an embossing folder with brickwork. 

 

Het raam is een mal van Memory Box.

 

The window is made with a die from Memory Box.

 

Ik hoop dat jullie genoten hebben van deze foto's, ik heb me reuze geamuseerd om het te maken !

Trimming the tree

Good morning everyone,

 

jawel, we zijn er bijna.... daarom dit kerstkaartje nog even, voor alle festiviteiten beginnen.

 

Yep, it's almost here ... so for all the festivities begin, here another Christmas card.

 

Ik leefde me nog een keertje uit met de stempels van Stamping Bella. De nieuwe reeks, die je In 't Woefke kan kopen.

 

For this I used another wonderful Stamping Bella stamp, this collection is available at In 't Woefke.

 

Vorige keer, het varkentje. Deze keer de kuikens.... Tja, als het varkentje niet thuis is, dansen de 'kuikens op tafel' hahahaha.

 

Last time I used Petunia the little pig, this time I'm going with the little chicks, ... What can I say, when the piglet is away from home, the chicks take over LOL

Hoe ga je aan de slag ?

 

How to get started?

 

Neem een stuk crème cardstock, ril middendoor.

 

Take a piece of off white cardstock and score in the middle.

 

Uit de voorste helft snij je met een vierkante snijmal een vierkant ter grootte van het raampje uit (kan ook met een mesje).

 

Die cut a square out of the front of your card, the size of your window (you can also do this with a knife)

 

Emboss je rest van de voorkant van de kaart, besmeur een beetje met Distress Inkt. Plak je raampje en sneeuw op de voorkant, bewerk deze met wat stickels. Plak je bomen en sentiment op de voorzijde, bewerk ook deze met stickles.

 

Emboss the front of you card and blend with some Distress ink. Attache the window and snow and add some stickles. Attache the trees and sentiment on the front also and add more stickles.

 

 

Aan de binnenkant komt je plaatje, zodat het netjes door het raampje te zien is.

 

On the inside of the card comes your colored stamped image so it shows through the window.
