Hartjes stempelen

 

Een mooie simpele kaart vandaag bloggertjes,

Today, dear blogger, een nice and easy card,

Je neemt een kleur cardstock (naar eigen keuze) van 14 op 21 cm. Leg de 21 cm tegen de bovenkant van je scorpal en ril op 10,5 cm. Je hebt nu een kaart van 14 op 10,5 cm.

Take a color cardstock of your choice and cut it to 14 x 21 cm. Place the cardstock with the long side against the top of your scorpal and score at 10.5 cm. You now have a card of 14 x 10.5 cm.

 

Snij in dezelfde kleur een reep van 14 op 4,5 cm en neem een stukje masking tape (van ongeveer 6 cm )  en scheur het aan beide zijkanten en kleef dit in het midden van je smalle cardstock strook.

Take a strip of the same color and cut it to 14 x 4.5 cm. Take a piece of masking tape (about 6 cm wide) which you tear at both sides and stick it at the middle of the strip you just cut.

 

Ga vervolgens aan het werk met stempeltjes met harten (ook hiervan ga je er maskeren, zodat je een 3D effect krijgt). Wanneer je vindt dat je kaart vol genoeg staat, verwijder je de middelste strook masking tape zodat er een open ruimte is, en ofwel laat je de kaart gewoon zoals ze is, ofwel zet je op het blanke stuk een tekstje.

Then take some heart stamps and stamp them randomly on your piece of cardstock in different colors (also mask some of the stamps so you can stamp them behind another heart, so you get a 3D effect). If you think you've got enough hearts, remove the masking tape. You now have an open space in the middle of your stamped cardstock,  leave it like it is, or use that space to stamp a tekst like I did.

Neem nu een strook van een andere kleur cardstock... 14 op 6,5 cm (mag ook 7cm zijn) en ga beide lange zijden ponsen met een mooie rand (ik gebruikte de hartjesrandpons van Martha Steward)... Kleef nu eerst je gestempelde strook  papier op je gekleurde en geponste cardstock en kleef dan alles in het midden op je kaart.

Take a strip of a different color cardstock ... 14 op 6.5 cm (or 7cm) and punch on both long sides a nice border (I used the heart edge punch from Martha Stewart) ... Glue the stamped strip of paper on your punched border and then you glue everything on your card.

Het resultaat zal steeds anders zijn... probeer het maar eens uit.

 

The end result will always be different ... try it out.

Wist Jij ...

 

Nu vaderdag er aankomt in Antwerpen gaan we met het designteam  de “mannelijke” toer op met onze projecten en dat heb ik bij dit projectje ook geprobeerd.  Het eerste waar ik aan dacht was dat vaderdag de ideale dag is om je vader te laten weten hoeveel hij wel voor je betekent.  Woorden betekenen vaak veel meer dan het duurste cadeau dat je koopt.  Dus heb ik dit envelopje gemaakt met daarin een klein kaartje voor die speciale woorden. 

Since it is almost fathersday here in Antwerp (they celebrate it at March 19) the designteam is going for the more manly projects.  The first thing I tought about was that fathersday is the perfect moment to tell your father what he really means to you.  Words can mean so much more than the most expensive present you buy.  So I made this envelop that holds a little card for those special words.

Eenvoudig verliefd,

Simply love , 

Neem een blauwe kaart (30 x 14 cm dubbelgeplooid) als basis en mat hierop een donkerblauwe kaart (13,5 x13,5 cm). Neem een craft papier en snij een kaart van 13x13, die je rondom rond distressed (rafelig maakt).

Take a blue card ( 30 x 14 cm  folded double) as your base card and attah a dark blue square (size 13,5 x 13,5 cm ) on top. Take kraft paper and cut a square size 13 x 13 cm, distress all around with a Tim Holtz distress tool.

 

Neem een sjabloon naar keuze en gesso of zoals ik heb gedaan... een Snow Pen en leg hiermee reliëf op je craft kaart. Laat goed drogen!

Take a stencil of your choice and use gesso or as I did ... a Snow Pen and  bring texture on your kraft cardstock. Allow to dry !

 

Neem een crèmekleurig overschotje (10,5 x 10,5 cm) en scheur rondom rond een randje af. Spons de randen met bruine inkt.

Take a piece of cream paper (10.5 x 10.5 cm) and tear all around the edge off . Sponge the edges with brown ink .

 

Uit een restant kraft papier stans je een label van zeker 8 x 8 cm. Ook deze spons je rondom met bruine inkt. Teken met een witte pen een vierkant dat je in vier hokjes verdeeld en stempel hierin met wit LOVE

Out of a bit of kraft paper you die cut a label of at least 8 x 8 cm . Sponge some brown ink around the edges. Draw a square with a white pen, divided this in to four smaller squares and stamps with white ink LOVE

 

Pons vervolgens twee hartjes , een swirl en bloempjes uit. De hartjes zijn hier van Quickutz, de swirl van Marianne Design en de bloempjes eveneens van Marianne Design. De bloempjes heb ik nog met een bolpen bewerkt, zodat ze rond gingen staan en een echter effect gaven. Ook zijn de bloemenrandjes aangezet met inkt... Kleef alles op de kaart.

Then punch or die cut: two hearts , a swirl and some flowers . The hearts are from Quickutz , the swirl is a die from Marianne Design and the flowers are also from Marianne Design. I used a dual-tipped Ball Stylus Tool to shape the flowers 

I also used some ink on the edges of the flowers ... Attach everything on your card.

Je neemt een witte cardstock van 14 op 28 cm en plooit deze dubbel (basis kaart), daarop mat je een donker rode kaart van 13,5 op 13,5 cm. Vervolgens neem je 4 stukken papier van 13x13 cm (2 effen kleuren en 2 met een leuk motief naar keuze).

Take white cardstock size 14 x28 cm and fold it in half (this is your base card) , attach on top a dark red card size 13,5 x 13,5 cm. Next, take four pieces of paper 13 x 13 cm (2 solid colors and 2 with a nice pattern of your choice) .

 

Je kleeft eerst (in mijn geval een stuk rood) van 13 x 3,5 cm op je geheel. De volgende strook (bloemenmotiefje)komt er links naast en een stukje overlappend, maar je hebt van één lange zijde een reepje gescheurd, zodat het nonchalant oogt. Kleef nu

Glue first a piece of cardstock (red on my card) size 13 x 3,5 cm on your card. The next strip (paper with floral motif ) is torn to make it look casual and is then glued to the left and a bit over my red.

 

rechts weer een strookje waarvan je weerom een lange zijden hebt gescheurd (deze zijde komt op het rode papier). Tenslotte ga je je laatste effen strook, bestempelen met tekst naar keuze (verjaardag, beterschap, hier Valentijn...) en ook weer één lange zijde afscheuren. Komt over  je gestreepte strook in dit geval.

On the right you attach another piece that you have ripped once again ( the torn side is on the red paper). Finally, take your last solid strip cardstock, stamp with text of your choice ( birthday , get well ,... I used some Valentine words...  ) tear it again and glue it down on the right of your card, and overlap your striped paper a bit.

 

Neem een reep wit papier van 30 x 6,5 cm en pons daar over de ganse lengte een mooie rand aan. Doe hetzelfde met gekleurd (hier rood) papier van 30 x 4 cm (mag andere randpons zijn). Hoe groter de bloem moet zijn, hoe breder je je rand moet maken (maar ook langer dan, want anders heb je problemen met het rondzetten van de bloem).

Take a strip of white paper 30 x 6,5 cm and punch it over the entire length with an edge punch of your choise to create a beautiful edge. Do the same with colored ( here red ) paper 30 x 4 cm (the same or another border punch ) . The bigger the flower should be , the wider you have to make the border ( but also longer, otherwise you will have problems rounding it to create the flower) .

 

Leg nu één voor één de stroken op je scorpal en ril alle centimeters. Maak een harmonica en doe aan één kant sterke lijm. Zet de bloem rond in een cirkel en sluit met deze lijm....  De rode bloem past mooi in de plooien van de witte bloem. Zet in het midden een grote splitpen of een geponst rondje. Pons twee leuke bladeren en twee strookjes van 0,5 cm x 20 cm rol je op tot een rolletje. Hou dat even goed vast en los dan de krul... Steek blaadjes en krullen onder de bloem (bloem vastkleven met lijm of met stevige gluedots). Pons een aantal vierkantjes en zet op elk een letter... zo maak je weerom een tekstje (LOVE)....

 

Lay the strips one by one on your scorpal and score every centimeter. Create a harmonica and attach to one side a strong adhesive. Put the flour in a circle and hold it down till it sticks .... The red flower fits nicely into the folds of the white flower . Set in the middle a large brad or punched circle. Punch two lovely leaves and cut two strips of 0.5 cm x 20 cm, roll this up in a tight circle. Hold that tight and loosen it to create the curls ... Put the leaves and curls under the flower (glue the flower with strong adhesive  or solid gluedots ). Punch a couple of  squares and stamp a letter on each square to make a word ( LOVE ) ....

Ik had het jullie beloofd… er ging nog een Valentijn-projectje aankomen…
Inge  verraste ons met nieuwjaar met een leuke ‘Forever-Friends-stempel’.  Die kon ik niet laten liggen hé…

I did promise you another Valentine project.

Inge surprised us at New Year with a fun Forever Friends stamp. This I couldn't ignore...

 

Ik kleurde hem voor de gelegenheid in met mijn Derwent-potloden… Een hele klus, neem dat maar van me aan…

Ben helemaal niet gewoon om met potloden te kleuren… (in tegenstelling tot DT-maatje Lins, die is daar super in!)

 

I colored it with Derwent pencils ... a big job, take it from me ...I'm not used to color with pencils ... (unlike my DT buddy Lins, she's great at it!)

 

Met nestabilities en mijn ‘Big Shot’, maakte ik de cirkels. De afbeelding hangt te bengelen aan een touwtje dat strak tussen de open cirkel gespannen staat.

I made circles with my Nestabilities and Big Shot. The image is dangling on a string that is glued tightly between the open circles.

 

Ik maakte in het kaart-doosje eveneens met een nestabilitie-mal een opening, waarin perfect een proefbuisje past, gevuld met lekkere hartjessuikerbonen…

I used the Nestabilitie to make a little opening in the card box where the tube fits nicely filled with heartshaped sweets...

 

Een strik maakt het geheel helemaal af.

 The ribbon finishes it off.

Benieuwd naar nog meer Valentijnsprojecten? Hou dit blog maar in de gaten… Mijn DT-maatjes maakten nog hele mooie dingen!!
