Halloween kaartjes



Hallo iedereen,

Tja wat kan ik zeggen, ik krijg er maar niet genoeg van, dus nog ff profiteren van deze gelegenheid om nog wat Halloween kaartjes te laten zien. Dit kaartje is gemaakt met een Belles 'n Whistles; ik werd direkt verliefd op dit leuke heksje.
Het prentje is gestempeld op aquarelpapier en ingekleurd met distress inkt. De achtergrond heb ik met de blendingtool met colorbox inkt ingekleurd.

What can I say, I just love Halloween, so here are some cute cards I made with stamps. This one is a Belles 'n Whistles stamp, I just had to have this cute witch the moment I saw her. I stamped her on aquarell paper and colored her with distress ink, the background I did with a blendingtool and some colorbox ink.

En zo ziet de binnenkant eruit, het papier is van Doodlebug, de doodskop is een mal van Cuttlebug.

And this is how it looks on the inside, the paper is from Doodlebug, the skull is a die from Cuttlebug.

En wat vinden jullie van deze kaart, zo'n schattig prentje vind ik dit ! De stempel is van Whipper Snapper, en is ook weer gestempeld op aquarelpapier en ingekleurd met distress inkt. Dit vind ik de mooiste techniek, distress inkt maakt de tekening direkt warm van kleur. Ik vond de achtergrond ook hier te wit, en daarom heb ik met de blendingtool de achtergrond purper gemaakt.

Het papier is van Bo Bunny, de pons van Martha Stewart.

And don't you just love this card? Such a cute stamp! It is from Whipper Snapper, and this one is also stamped on aquarell paper and colored with distress ink. This method is my favorite, it gives a warm look to it. I didn't like the background to be white, so I took my blendingtool and made the background purple, just like the card. The paper is from Bo Bunny, the punches from Martha Stewart.

Halloween display

Hier een leuk projektje dat we gisteren in de workshop gemaakt hebben, een mini album / Halloween display. Hier boven zie je het netjes dichtgevouwen, de buitenkant is gemaakt met My Mind's Eye papier met velvet.

Here a little project we made in the workshop yesterday: a mini album / Halloween display. On the photo on top you see it nicely folded close, the outside is decorated with My Mind's Eye velvet paper.

Dit is dan het eerste luikje, versierd met stempels, rubons, chipboard tags en canvas tags.

This is the first part, decorated with stamps, rubons, chipboard and canvas tags.

Hier op het 2de luikje wou ik een soort van "slaapkamer" maken met stempels, met een familie portret boven de doodskist / bed, de luster, het skelet ( TH stempel) dat net uit zijn bed gestapt lijkt te zijn, .... De doodskist heb ik zo ontworpen dat ze lat opvouwt als je de display dichtdoet, maar als ie opengaat, dan heb je in 3D een doodskist, en dat lijkt zoveel echter! Oooh ik kan toch echt genieten deze feestdag, je mag er nét dat tikkeltje over gaan hihi

Here on the 2nd part, I made kind of a "bedroom" with a family portret above the coffin / bed, the skeleton (TH stamp) looks like he just came out of it, the chandelier, his beloved scaredy cat pet ..... I made the coffin so it goes flat when you fold the display, and when you open it, it looks like the real thing. Ooo isn't Halloween just fun, you can go over the top and it all looks fabulous LOL

Het 3de luik toont een spookhuis met een kerkhof ervoor, het huis heb ik uit papier geknipt, de grafzerk en kerkhof zijn gemaakt met een nestabilitie mal.

The spooky mansion was cut out of scrappaper, the tomb and graveyard were diecut with a nestabilitie set.

Het laatste luik toont een griezelig scene, gemaakt met lasercut papier van LYB papier. Omdat de scene in een stuk papier zat en dus afgesneden rechte stukken had, moest ik de takken, vleermuizen, maan, .... wel verder tekenen en uitknippen. Het is moeilijk om hier uit te leggen, maar als je het papier ziet, dan snap je het direkt. De spookjes, heksenpot zijn gemaakt met een QK mal, de grafzerk is een Jolee.

This last part shows a spooky scene, made with lasercut paper from LYB. Because the lasercut is part of a scrappaper, some parts I had to draw further (the branches, the moon, the batwings, ...) and cut out. It is hard to explain  here, but if you see the paper, you understand what I mean. The ghosts and cauldron are made with QK dies, the tomb is a Jolee.

Zo dat was het weer voor vandaag, ik hoop dat jullie dit net zo leuk vinden als ik.

Bendy Fold kaart: Halloween

Nog een kaartje met dezelfde techniek als het herfsthuisje, maar dan helemaal in Halloween sfeer! Zalig toch, hier kan je je eens volledig mee laten gaan, het mag helemaal over-the-top zijn en niemand kijkt ervan op !!

Another card with the same technique as the little fall house, but now for Halloween! This is so much fun, you can go all the way, over-the-top even and nobody complains!

Hier heb ik een Halloween winkel van gemaakt, met een heleboel stempels: de labels en de heksenpot zijn van Inkadinkado, de bokaal en fles zijn van Vilda, de potionbottles met schedel is van Whipper Snapper. De goo, kat en spinnewebben waren ponsen van Martha Stewart.

I made this little Halloween shop with lots of stamps: the labels and Wiches' Brew are from Inkadinkado, the bottle and jar are from Vilda, the potions and skull are from Whipper Snapper.
The goo, cat and spiderwebs are Martha Stewart punches.

Ik vond nergens iets om in de bokaal te doen, dus heb ik de ogen in de bokaal maar zelf met cirkelponsjes en stiften gemaakt, lekker griezelig toch?!! hèhèhè

I couldn't find anything to put in the jar, so I decided to make some eyeballs myself with circle punches and a black and red pen. Creepy aren't they?!! hèhèhè

Tot binnenkort, ik ben nog met enkele halloween dingetjes bezig, dus die mag je ook nog verwachten.

Bendy Fold kaart: Herfsthuisje

Hallo iedereen,

De dagen beginnen te korten, het wordt al wat frisser, de bladeren beginnen te verkleuren, heerlijk knutselweer dus LOL

Hi everyone,

The days are getting shorter, it's a bit colder, the leaves are changing color, perfect for crafting!

Toen ik deze techniek zag, dacht ik direkt:" Dat wordt een leuke workshop!". Ik wist dan ook direkt wat ik ermee wou doen; een herfsthuisje maken. En dit is het dan geworden! Is het niet leuk?! Diegenen die zich voor de workshop van morgen hebben ingeschreven gaan o.a. deze kaar maken.
En je kan het makkelijk aanpassen voor elke gelegenheid: Kerstmis, Pasen, voor iemand die met pensioen gaat, voor mensen die verhuizen of veranderingen hebben gedaan, .... Je kan het zo gek niet bedenken.

As soon as I saw this technique, I knew what I wanted to do with it: create a card in the shape of a house, with a fence, a hedge, windows, ... So this is what I came up with, isn't it fun?!
And so easy to make for other occasions: christmas, easter, for someone who retires, when people buy a new house .... Just let your imagination go wild!
